I recently treated myself to some beauty products at Whole Foods so I thought I'd do a proper haul for you. I wanted some essentials to get me through Winter, and a few makeup bits. I didn't find everything I was looking for, but I did get some extras that totally made up for it.
Clementine Ginger Energizing Body Lotion // Andalou Naturals
I adore the Andalou body lotions; they thoroughly hydrate my skin with high quality butters, oils, and vitamins. This is my favourite scent, I love the citrus notes with the touch of ginger. I wasn't planning on getting any because I already have quite the collection, but in honour of Non GMO Month, the Andalou lotions and hand creams were buy one, get one, so of course I had to take part!
Lavender Thyme Refreshing Body Lotion // Andalou Naturals
Along with the clementine scent, I picked up this calming lavender one. I've never tried this because of the thyme, but I think it adds a nice natural, herby scent to the lotion. Just like all of the other scents, this is super nourishing with butters and oils, but with the relaxing scent of lavender.
A Path of Light Lavender Hand Cream // Andalou Naturals
The BOGO savings carried on to their hand creams, so of course I picked up two. Do I even need to tell you lovelies about this? If you've been reading the blog for a while, you know exactly how much I love these. If you don't, feel free to check out this post all about the Andalou hand creams, and one of my more recent empties posts.
Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub // Giovanni Cosmetics
This is my favourite new product and half the reason why I wanted to share this haul. It literally smells like hot chocolate. Not just chocolatey, but sweet and warming. This reminds me of cold days with warm mugs of hot chocolate and marshmallows. The actual scrub itself is wonderful, it's a sugar scrub (I prefer these to salt scrubs) and it's gentle, but effective, and hydrating, but not greasy. It's also got this weird warming effect that I do not mind at all. I'm so excited to keep using this, it makes long showers so much more relaxing. They also have a mint lemonade scrub that I will definitely be trying in the Spring time.
Nail Lacquer in Toff // Butter London
I've needed a new polish forever, but haven't been able to find one I love. I'm not really into dark colours but I wanted something that screams Fall. This is my choice, and it's a beautiful mauve shade that's a bit purple, a bit pink, and even a bit brown. It's not too dark but it's definitely not a Summer colour. I've also heard a lot about Butter London from Sunny and Anna, so I thought I'd finally give them a go. I will say, for the price, I have high expectations.
Lipstick in Molten // Mineral Fusions
I've been looking for a new lipstick because lippies make me happy, and I couldn't resist this shade. It's a perfect nude, "my lips but better" shade that I wish I'd found ages ago. The Mineral Fusions formulas are hydrating, long lasting, and pigmented, so they're always a go to for me. Have you tried any of their shades?
Until next time,
