I've been living in Toronto for about six months now, and while I've found a lot of natural beauty products, I've struggled to find my favourites. Andalou Naturals is everywhere, but some of their products are nowhere to be found. I've completely given up on finding Acure Organics, although a source tells me they may be coming to Canada soon.
So when I bought a plane ticket home to NC, of course going to Whole Foods was on my to do list. I just had to pick up some cult favourites and try some new things as well. And being the beauty blogger I am, I had to do a skincare haul for you!
Facial Cleansing Creme// Acure Organics
Acure has three cleansers, one for combination to oily skin, one for dry, and one for sensitive skin. I have dry and sensitive skin, so you can imagine the difficulty in choosing a cleanser. But in the end I picked this one because their sensitive facial cleanser has a lot of coconut, which my skin doesn't like very much. This one smells very natural and almost earthy, with a thick but smooth texture that is super gentle on my skin. It properly cleanses my face without stripping my skin of it's oils, reason enough to keep this in my skincare routine.
Seriously Hydrating Facial Toner // Acure Organics
I used to adore their Certified Organic Facial Toner for problematic skin. The scent was light and refreshing, and the toner really helped calm and soothe my irritated skin. While I do have problematic skin, I also have dry skin, so I've been wanting to try this one for a while. Unfortunately there is no link to this on their website, but it's a very natural, simple toner with calming and hydrating ingredients.
Certified Organic Moraccan Argan Oil // Acure Organics
I cannot tell you how much I have missed this. It helps with acne, acne scars, dark spots, wrinkles, and of course dry areas. I love using this as an eye treatment because it is so silky and smooth and goes on without rubbing that sensitive area. I'm so ridiculously happy to be using this again.
Daily Shade Facial Lotion with SPF 18 // Andalou Naturals
Andalou Naturals products are very easy to find in Toronto, but I've been on the look out for this specific product and I haven't seen it anywhere! The ingredients in this are really nice and clean, it smells like roses, and has SPF, so I am hoping it will replace my current SPF lotion, but we'll see!
It may not be a lot, but I am super pumped about these products. I have missed the quality of Acure Organics products so hopefully my skin will get a little happier with all of these hydrating products.
Until next time,
