Instead of showing you a new skincare routine every season, I want to start writing chattier posts about the new products I'm using, new masks I've introduced, and the holistic ways I'm taking care of my skin with the change of season.
Let me know if this is something you're into, or if you prefer to see a classic updated skincare routine!
I'm still using the Sattva Pure Nourish & Protect Cream Cleanser* and I'm still loving it. I'm almost out so I am thinking of trying something new, but I'm hesitant because this cleanser is so dreamy. It's gentle but exfoliating, it's softening, removes makeup, and it's formulated with wonderful ingredients.

I've put away my hydration serum and I'm giving the Granola Goat Keep Calm Face Serum a try. It's a little too early to say anything yet, but I really hope I like this, I love that it's made with just three ingredients; red raspberry seed oil, sea buckthorn berry oil, and german chamomile essential oil.
I'm also trying the Meow Meow Tweet Cocoa Skin Cream as a night cream. I've used it as a body cream and loved it so I wanted to try it on my face. I'm liking it so far but I'm a little nervous because the cocoa butter can clog pores, but I haven't seen much of that yet. But I love how anti-inflammatory this is and that it's made with just four ingredients!
New Spring Exfoliants + Face Masks.
I'm also loving the Down to Earth Balance Complexion Clay with Korean Ginseng & Calendula. It's a balancing, clay mask that's great for reducing redness and clarifying the skin without being too harsh for sensitive skin. I've been thoroughly enjoying it and it's a great option as the seasons change.
Treatments + Tools.
I've been getting facials at Restore & Replenish and I can tell you it's made quite the difference. Proper exfoliation, massage, and face steaming can make so much difference in the brightness, clarity, tone, and texture of your skin.
It's also the most relaxing treatment, far more relaxing than a massage. If you have it in your budget, I really recommend including it into your skincare routine. I also do weekly at home facials to keep up the benefits between professional treatments.
I'm also looking to get a Jade Facial Roller for at home massage, de-puffing, and for headaches. Have you tried a facial roller?
Holistic + Wellness Updates.
The biggest change I'm going to make is working out again. I've totally stopped because my depression got to a point where I wasn't interested in any kind of physical activity. But I know that exercise is one of the best ways for me to cope with anxiety and depression, so my goal for March is to find a gym and get back into a workout routine. I know this will help my skin because sweating is detoxifying, and if my stress and anxiety levels are lower, my skin will be much clearer.
I'm also working on figuring out which herbs and teas are beneficial for my anxiety, which again, can help clear my skin. I'm still drinking lots of Traditional Medicinals teas for my overall wellness which of course affects my skin.
I've also started getting monthly massages. They're a great way for me to heal achy, sore muscles, and they help with relaxation.
What are the ways you've updated your skincare routine for Spring?
