Over the holidays I was gifted this gorgeous palette from Mineral Fusion. I've been using the Mineral Fusion Eyeshadow Trios for quite some time so I was so excited to see a full palette.
This gem includes six different eye shadows, with two matte and four shimmers. I love the mix of matte and shimmery shadows because it'll allow me to easily create day or night looks.
Just like their eye shadow trios, Mineral Fusion has created a palette with pigmented, long lasting shades that work together to create dozens of looks. I hope they'll come out with more soon!
Mattifying Primer // 100% Pure
This was my first time using this primer so there isn't much to say yet. But I did love the silky smooth texture and my tinted moisturizer was a lot easier to apply. I'll update you as I use this more often.
Fruit Pigmented Tinted Moisturizer in Creme // 100% Pure
This is always my go to foundation. It's a light and hydrating product that offers medium coverage and a bit of sun protection.
Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer in Creme // 100% Pure
This is another go to makeup product. I use this to conceal blemishes and under eye circles and it works really well. There is always some creasing under the eyes, but this can be minimized with an eye cream.
Hydration Mist // Mineral Fusion
I love using this to hydrate my skin and keep my makeup from looking patchy.
Brow Wiz in Taupe // Anastasia Beverly Hills
This is my favourite brow product. It's very easy to apply and my brows usually end up looking pretty good, if I may say so.
Holiday Palette // Mineral Fusion
This palette was exclusive to Whole Foods over the holiday season. Unfortunately, this means it's not available online. But you can always recreate this look with eye shadows you already have!
To create today's look, I used the second shadow as a base colour all over my eye lid. I then applied the third colour, followed by the fourth. Both of these shades are shimmery, so I applied them very gently so as to not go overboard. I was left with a neutral, pink look that was very natural with a hint of shimmer.
To create a bit more drama, I used the sixth shade on the outer corners of my eyes. I love this because it almost looks like I'm wearing eyeliner, but with a lot less fuss. I topped everything off with some highlighter in the inner corners of my eyes and a healthy dose of mascara. It's not my every day look, but I'd definitely wear this look on a date with my partner.
Fruit Pigmented Mascara in Black Tea // 100% Pure
This is a great mascara that gives me lots of natural length.
Blush in Sunset // ZuZu Luxe
I adore this blush formulation. It's got the right amount of pigmentation, the colour is amazingly bright and peachy, and it's long lasting.
Fruit Pigmented Luminizer // 100% Pure
This is a fantastic highlighter and I use it all the time. It works perfectly on the tops of my cheeks, down the top of my nose, and in the inside corners of my eyes.
Have you tried any of the Mineral Fusion eye shadows?
Until next time,
