Remember this chatty post where I said I am going to try to post about different brands? Yeah let's start that new trend after this post. This haul happened a few weeks ago, so we'll just let this one slide, okay? Okay.
I've lived in Toronto for a little over a year now, and I can honestly say that I had no idea this market existed. I live in North York, so finding shops downtown or on the other side of the DVP takes a lot of work. But I've discovered it and fell in love, so now I have another place to discover new beauty products! I needed a few bits and bobs before school started, mostly hand creams as you can see. I also managed to snag some deals and find an old favourite. If you live in the Toronto area or are planning on visiting soon, head over to the Big Carrot Market for lots of beauty bits and some yummy food!
Hand Cream in Lavender + Clementine // Andalou Naturals
I've talked about these products in so many posts, including this one that's all about them. They're the perfect natural option - affordable, hydrating, and they come in three lovely scents. They work well all year round at keeping my hands soft and smooth. They're even air travel friendly!
Pink Grapefruit Hand Buttercream // 100% Pure
I've never been able to find 100% Pure products in store so I've always ordered online. The person in charge of their Instagram actually told me about this market - and that they carry almost all of the 100% Pure products! When I finally got a chance to go, I was kind of surprised at the prices - a lot of them were way lower than the online prices. The hand cream was five dollars cheaper, which is why I had to pick it up. I love how tiny they are because they fit perfectly in my small hand bag. They also come in so many different luxurious scents so you can pick and choose based on your mood. Just like their body creams, they offer light weight hydration that lasts throughout the day. This market also carries their skin and makeup items so if you're in the area do check it out!
Foot Butter // Rocky Mountain Soap Co.
Okay so I've never seen foot butter in packaging like this. I picked this up because it looks super convenient and easy to use - you don't even have to get your hands messy with foot cream. This butter also smells divine, with a really natural, almost earthy Fir scent that is cozy and comforting. I think it's also a nice change from the usual minty foot creams. After a few weeks of use, I'm still not sure if I love it or hate it. I think the derma e foot cream is more hydrating, but I love this scent. I'll report back when I make up my mind!
Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer in Creme // 100% Pure
I feel so silly because I literally just ordered this online. But when I went into the market, they had it for sale at half price. I had to get it! Now I'm probably good on concealer for several months. But this is a lovely all over, every day concealer that's wonderful at hiding blemishes and redness while adding a touch of highlight.
Argan Oil Facial Moisturizer SPF 30 // 100% Pure
I've gone without this for a few months, and I can definitely tell. This is the one and only SPF cream I like because it's hydrating enough that I don't need a separate day cream, it works well under makeup, and it doesn't irritate my skin. I will say, I do like the old pump style packaging better. But the product itself is still lovely.
I hope you enjoyed this little Toronto beauty haul. Do you have any local beauty shops you love?
