If you're new to beauty favourites, they're my monthly round up of my favourite beauty products. They're usually whatever I've been reaching for most or whatever I've noticed is working really well for me. Let's dive right in.
Foot Butter // Rocky Mountain Soap Co.
I have so many feelings about this product, with the unique packaging, the beautiful pine scent and the moisturizing cocoa butter. My hands are nice and clean thanks to the deodorant style packaging, I love the pine scent as opposed to the usual mint, and my feet are soft and hydrated.
Rosehip Oil Moisturizing Serum // Cocoon Apothecary
While rosehip oil is great for all skin types, it's especially lovely for acne prone skin. It's also great for wrinkles, sun damage, scars, ect. Basically it's a miracle in a bottle. Thanks to Cocoon Apothecary, my skin isn't as dull and dry, but more hydrated and glowy. It's also helped clear up some of my acne scars and I haven't seen a lot of new spots either. I love that this particular one is organic and Cocoon Apothecary is a family run business locally located in Kitchener, Ontario. I've made it my goal to support more local and especially Canadian businesses, and this brand is a great place to start!
Long Lasting Concealer in Creme // 100% Pure
I actually bought this a while ago, but I didn't really like it at first. It's not as intense as my other concealers, and with my genetics (thanks Dad...) I need something intense to cover up my under eye circles. But I gave this another go recently and I actually love it. I think it works much better in the colder weather. Again, I think I need something with more coverage for my under eye circles, but this works well on my acne scars and problem spots. It blends very easily and is definitely a long lasting product. I also think this colour works really well for my skin tone, so I'm pleased all around.
Lipstick in Alluring // Mineral Fusions
If you follow me on Twitter you know I've been looking for a badass vampy lipstick. It's Fall, and I feel like it's an essential. But, I've yet to find one. Maybe I'm just too picky, but it seems I can only find neutrals or reds. This is the closest I've found and although it's not vampy, it is a berry lip that I adore. It's pigmented, long lasting, hydrating, and it works so well with my fair skin. It even fades really nicely which is awesome when I forget to reapply after eating.
I hope you enjoyed a little dive into my recent favourites, and don't forget to check out my non beauty faves on Friday.
Until next time,
