Summer is here so it's time to change up the skincare routine. I love switching heavy creams and cleansing balms for lighter options that suit the hotter weather.
Fantastic Face Wash* // Ursa Major
I'm planning on doing a full Ursa Major skincare review, so stay tuned for that!
I was a little nervous to try this gel based cleanser because I thought it would strip my skin. But it actually has been really great for helping to balance my skin. It doesn't strip my skin, but it also isn't super hydrating so it's really great for the warmer months.
It gets nice and foamy without sulfates so it can gently exfoliate and renew my skin, prepping it for the rest of my routine.
Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist // Herbivore Botanicals
I've been using this for months and I love it. My skin is usually sensitive to rose, but this has the opposite effect. The rose and coconut water work to calm and soothe my skin, so it's wonderful as the seasons change.
Organic Argan Oil* // Buhbli Organics
Buhbli Organics contacted me to share their really affordable, organic line of skincare.
I've started using this argan oil and I really like it. I love that it's given my skin the same nourishing, hydrating, repairing effects I expect of an argan oil, without the cost. Depending on the day I'll pair it with their Organic Frankincense Essential Oil* for a little skincare boost.
I'll be putting up a blog post soon about pairing their skincare oils with essential oils for custom skincare blends!
Organic Pomegranate Antioxidant Cream SPF 20 // 100% Pure (Not Available)
Unfortunately this isn't available anymore, and I can see why. While I love the nourishing effects of the cream, the super dose of antioxidants, and the sun protection, the texture is really runny and hard to work with.
100% Pure makes really lovely sun protection creams, so I'd recommend any of their other options instead.
Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream // 100% Pure
This is a super nourishing cream that's great for the sensitive eye area. It's easy to apply and it sinks right in, hydrating the delicate area.
