A lot of people are into capsule wardrobes right now, myself included. I've been working on creating my wardrobe for the last year, and it's still got a long way to go. Everyone's capsule is different, but mine consists of thirty pieces. These pieces include tops, bottoms, coats, ect. They do not include bags, hats, shoes, or scarves. But that's just me. Your capsule wardrobe may be totally different.
When it comes to makeup, a lot of people love buying new products - especially beauty bloggers. Bloggers like Lily Pebbles and Estee Lalonde have massive collections, and very recently Estee has talked about getting rid of her makeup and keeping a smaller collection. I want to talk today about taking the idea of a capsule wardrobe and applying it to your makeup bag.
I've made a list of makeup items I think are necessary in a makeup collection. These are the basics, the essentials, the must haves. These are the ones that I'll be replacing when I've emptied them, and making sure I always have one on hand. If you're new to makeup or want to pair down your collection, I hope you can take some inspiration for your own make up collection.

What do you think? Could you ever limit yourself to just fifteen makeup products?
I'm even thinking of doing a no buy month, where I will go an entire month without buying any makeup products. This would let me see which products I really use, so I could get rid of the ones I don't.
It'll also help to save some money, which is always good. What are your thoughts about no buy months? Have you done one?
Until next time,
