I'm always curious about what's in people's beauty drawers, makeup bags, purses, ect. I like to know what people find useful, what they love, what they keep around at all times. It's weird, I know. But if you're a bit nosy like me, this post is for you. I've gathered all of my shower beauty bits and I'm going to give you a quick run down of everything.
Apple Cider Clarifying Shampoo // Live Clean
I've been using this shampoo lately because I've been trying to use it up. It's not bad, it's actually really good for a drug store shampoo. But I'm just not a massive fan. Sometimes I feel like it's almost too gentle and it doesn't properly clean my hair.
Volume Conditioner // Acure Organics
I love this conditioner - it's hydrating, but not overly so, and it does help with my hair's volume. The mint is super refreshing and the quinoa protein helps keep my hair strong and healthy.
Persian Rose Natural Soap // Pacifica
I love this soap, it's super gentle, it smells amazing, and it's really affordable. Pacifica is everywhere these days, so you can always find their soaps and body washes. I love the range of scents they offer and they're all made with quality, natural ingredients.
Foaming Shaving Gel // Acure Organics
Although I don't think this is really foaming, I love this stuff. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin, it's hydrating, and it smells wonderful, with cucumber and chamomile extracts.
4X Razor // Dollar Shave Club
My partner and I are part of the Dollar Shave Club, where we get razors and blades mailed to us for a really affordable price. The razors and blades are the best I've ever used, hands down, and we've even got our roommate into it as well. They offer three different blades, and you buy the razor once and then the blades are mailed to you monthly. I highly recommend it for all genders.
Polishing Body Scrub // Yes to Coconuts
I used to adore this scrub, but I'm finding it way too gentle these days. I think this is better for the warmer months when you need just a little bit of exfoliating, but in the Winter I find I need something more intense. But I do still love the light, fresh coconut scent.
Nail Brush // Whole Foods
I keep one of these in the shower to clean my nails, nothing fancy here. I picked this one up at Whole Foods because it is made of wood instead of plastic, but you can get these almost anywhere.
Foot File // Earth Therapeutics
I bought this a long time ago and it's done me well. It's intense but not too intense and my feet are always soft and smooth, as long as I use this regularly.
There you go, a look into my shower. I love long showers but I like to keep the beauty part short and simple. Do you have any shower essentials?
Until next time,
