As the seasons change I love sharing new skincare routines.
I just shared my Updated Morning Skincare Routine so I'll also share my evening routine. It's actually pretty simple. I use the Oil Cleansing Method.
I've written a blog series on the oil cleansing method, which you can find here.
The Oil Cleansing Method
It's essentially cleansing your skin with a ratio of carefully selected oils. The idea is that you use oils for your skin type to remove impurities, cleanse, and hydrate, all in one.
It's a time effective skincare routine that's great for balancing and hydrating. It's been wonderful at balancing my skin's oil production, healing irritation and acne, and calming redness.
I use different ratios depending on how my skin is doing. If my skin feels congested, I'll use more castor oil to pull everything out. But if I need more hydration or healing, I'll use more tamanu oil.
Where Do I Get Started?
If you're just starting out, use set ratios until you can adjust and figure out which works for you. My blog post on the oil cleansing method explains what oils and ratios to use.
What do you think about the oil cleansing method? Have you tried it before?
Until next time,
