I want to start this post by saying that I'm not telling you to wear lipstick. If that's not your thing, no big deal. It wasn't my thing for a long time, and it's still not an every day go to. But if you do wear lipstick, you need to try Mineral Fusion.
What are Common Lipstick Issues?
I've only really tried natural lipsticks. A few common issues are the pigmentation and how it wears.
A lot of natural lipsticks are either very lightly pigmented or way too much. Neither is ideal.
Another issue with natural lipsticks is how long they last and how they wear. Not many are super long lasting, which is not the worst thing in the world.
But the worst thing is when you apply a lipstick that's a beautiful light pink, and a few hours later it's turned into a bright neon pink. Not that neon pink is bad, because it's not, but when you wanted a light pink, it's not ideal.
What's Different About Mineral Fusion?
Mineral Fusion doesn't have any of those issues. The pigmentation is absolutely perfect, it's never too much or too little. It's a little long lasting, but what I love the most is that the colour doesn't change.
Mineral Fusion is also a more affordable company, with lipsticks around $20.
Are they Gluten Free? Vegan?
Mineral Fusion offers lipsticks that are:
- Gluten Free
- Cruelty Free
- Paraben Free
- Free of Artificial Colours
- Fragrance Free
- Talc Free
- Phlata Free
And they're also free of jojoba oil, which is great for me because my skin hates jojoba oil and it's in everything.
What Kind of Shades Do They Offer?
That's another great thing about Mineral Fusion - their shades are beautiful. I love their entire line up, which is rare.
My favourites are the Molten, Alluring, and Flashy shades.
How Do They Look?
I'm glad you asked! I've got so many looks featuring these lipsticks.
The Low Down
These Mineral Fusion lipsticks are perfectly pigmented lipsticks that wear wonderfully. They come in gorgeous shades and without any of the nasty, artificial ingredients. They're an affordable, cruelty free, must have in any make up bag!
Have you tried the Mineral Fusion lipsticks?
Until next time,
