I hope you all had a lovely month! I'm sharing a few of my favourites, and I'd love to hear yours in the comments!
Slow Mornings //
In the last year, I've developed a consistent morning routine. But in the last few weeks, I've started slowing down a bit more.
I've given myself about half an hour to sit with my coffee and read. It's been a way to slow myself down, to really enjoy the morning, and of course, drink my coffee.
Lemon Verbena Scented Soy Candle // Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day
I've got a pretty big candle stash, but this one has quickly become my favourite. I'm loving lemongrass and lemon scented things as the weather warms up and this has that prefect fresh, lemon scent.
It smells like a breath of fresh air and a clean house all in one. It's also made of soy, so it's easier on the environment that the paraffin alternatives.
Honey Lavender Stress Relief Tea // Yogi Tea
Ever since we started brewing lavender kombucha, I've really wanted a lavender tea. But aside from making it myself, I couldn't find many options. When I visited the States I found this gem.
I really wish there wasn't honey, as I could add my own if I wanted, but it's complimented the lavender really well. It's a delicious tea hot, but it's also really refreshing iced, and as the weather warms up, iced is perfect.
The Zero Waste Lifestyle //
Okay so this is a really broad favourite, but I've recently gotten into this whole zero waste thing. As a vegan teen, I was so into composting, DIY beauty, and jars. I used jars for storing everything.
Now that I've got (mostly) my own place, I'm starting out again. I've already got that love of DIY projects and reusable jars. I've got my trusty little Joco Cup. I've also bought stainless steel straws for on the go sipping. I'm not doing the whole life overhaul just yet, but I'm taking steps to get there. Next on my list: composting. Again.
What have been some of your favourite things?
Until next time,
