I recently bought a ZuZu Luxe blush in Sunset, and I love it. It's a pigmented, peachy blush that really does remind me of a sunset. This gives me a perfectly flushed, naturally glowy look that I can't get enough of.
After I bought this, I wanted to create a look with lots of peach tones that would compliment my new blush. But all of my peachy lip products seemed to take away from the blush, so instead, I opted for a pink lip glaze. That way I get some lip colour without taking anything away from this gorgeous blush.
Buffing Brush // Real Techniques
This brush is perfect for blending tinted moisturizer and concealer.
Full Eye Shadow Brush // Eco Tools
I love this because it's the perfect size; it's not too big or too small. I only have two brushes from this brand, but I'm going to pick up more because they're very affordable and good quality.
Blush Brush // Real Techniques
I have a love/hate relationship with this brush. It varies from day to day but overall, I find it's too big and sometimes I'll end up with blush all over my cheeks. It's a personal choice, but if you have any blush brush recommendations, please let me know.
Pointed Foundation Brush // Real Techniques
This is perfect for applying a luminizing powder. It's thin and small so I can use it down my nose, on the tops of my cheeks, even under my brow bone.
Tinted Moisturizer in Creme // 100% Pure
This is a light to medium coverage, buildable tinted moisturizer that's awesome because you get a little bit of hydration along with some sun protection.
It's also very long lasting, easy to apply with a brush or your fingers, and has not caused any skin problems whatsoever.
Brightening Concealer in Creme // 100% Pure
This is my go to, everyday concealer. It offers light to medium coverage, it's very buildable, and it easily conceals my blemishes without making them worse.
Brow Wiz in Taupe // Anastasia Beverly Hills
This is my favourite brow product. It's not a very natural product, although it is cruelty free. This pen is so good at creating neat and precise brows that still look natural.
Eyeshadow Trio in Espresso // Mineral Fusion
I really love the Mineral Fusion eye shadows because they're pigmented and long lasting, but also very natural looking. I used all the two lightest shades in this look.
Fruit Pigmented Mascara in Black Tea // 100% Pure (Not Available Online)
This is a great mascara that adds lots of length. It's a very natural, nourishing mascara that's gentle and won't irritate your eyes.
Blush in Sunset // ZuZu Luxe
This gorgeous blush is perfect for Summer. It's even a little shimmery, but that doesn't translate much when applied to the cheeks. I'll be wearing this all Summer long and I can't wait to try their other shades.
Pink Champagne Luminescent Powder // 100% Pure
This powder is an essential to creating a glowy look. I always add this down my nose, on the tops of my cheeks, and sometimes under my brow bone.
Lip Glaze in Coquette // 100%Pure
I chose this pink shade to compliment the blush and it's peachy tones. These lip glazes from 100% Pure are great because they're an easy, convenient product that's similar to a lip stick, but easier to apply, especially when you don't have a mirror handy.
What do you think of this FOTD? What are your go to Summer makeup products?
Until next time,
