I love a good face mask. They usually leave my skin feeling revived and refreshed. But my skin is dry and sensitive, so it can be difficult to find a good mask. It's also apparently difficult to find a natural hydrating mask. But I've finally found one and I'm very excited to share it with you.
This is the second Lush face mask I've tried, the first being Cupcake, which is a great mask for oily and problematic skin types.
But I picked up the BB Seaweed mask, which is described by Lush as a "soothing, smoothing seaweed mask" and I couldn't agree more.
This is an intense mask that I found really hydrating. It left my skin feeling smooth and supple. It looked like my skin had bounced back to life.
There wasn't any redness or irritation, though I will say I absolutely hate taking Lush face masks off. You really need to get into the shower for these ones, because a hot face cloth is just not going to do it.
With that aside, this is overall a really good Lush face mask for people with dry skin. The olive oil, rose, honey, and seaweed help to hydrate and soothe your skin, and the ground almonds offer light exfoliation.
I didn't find this to be overly fragranced either, and I actually like how natural and earthy it smells. My only wish is that I'd found this last October when my skin was having a mini freak out over the cold weather.
Have you tried this Lush face mask? What are your thoughts?
Until next time,
