I hope you've all had a great June! Today I'm going to share some new life favourites, so feel free to share yours in the comments!
Creative Confidence: Unleashing the Creative Potential Within Us All // Tom & David Kelley
This was a really easy read all about creativity. The Kelley's use their experiences to show how everyone of us is creative, and how we can incorporate creativity into our daily lives.
The Travel Issue // Kinfolk Issue 20
I wasn't sure that I'd like this issue, mostly because I'm not really that into travel. I know, it sounds weird. But I get motion sick easily and I'm a home body.
But this issue has actually been one of my favourites. It's not just about travel, but it's about the people that travel, how it effects their work and creativity. It's also inspiring, and it does make me want to travel a bit more. Just not too far. Or in a plane.
The 2016 Simplified Planner // Emily Ley
This one isn't new at all, but I've been really appreciating my planner this month. We're moving soon so life's been a bit hectic. But my planner has given me the tools to really think about how I want to spend my time and how I want to get things done.
It's given me a sense of calm in all of the craziness because I can visually see everything; to do lists, notes, schedules, ect. and it really makes it so much easier to get things done.
Cotton Pouches // Creative Bag
I bought these as produce bags. Instead of using the plastic produce bags at the store, I use these instead. It saves the grocery store money and it reduces plastic waste.
They're really light so it doesn't add much weight to the produce. I also think they're really pretty and my cart and fridge look so much more organized.
This option is also a lot cheaper than traditional reusable produce bags, as those can be more expensive. But if you know how to sew, you can always make your own!
What were your lifestyle favourites this month?
Until next time,
