With the end of January, comes all of my beauty favourites for this month!
Facial Cleansing Creme // Acure Organics
This cleanser is perfection. It doesn't strip my skin, but instead offers light hydration. The ingredients are calming and soothing, and the natural, earthy scent is light and calming.
Kombucha Enzyme Exfoliating Peel // Andalou Naturals
I adore this peel! It's super gentle and easy to use. You just apply a thin layer, leave for ten minutes, and easily wipe off with a warm cloth. It always leaves my skin soft and smooth. Not to mention how it helps keep my skin clean and exfoliated, clearing my pores and helping with acne.
Argan Stem Cell Facial Mask // Acure Organics
When I go to use a face mask, I usually opt for a clay that I mix with water. But sometimes, you just want the convenience of a face mask in a tube. That's where this comes in. It's a wonderful mask that is great for evening my skin tone, softening, and soothing.
Brighten Face Mask // Herbivore Botanical
Remember when I mentioned the clay masks that I mix with water? I'm talking about these. So far, this one is my favourite. I love having soft, bright, glowy skin and this really helps with all of that. This is one of the few brightening products that actually work without being harsh or irritating. Plus it's a dream to remove, which makes the whole process smoother and better for my skin.
Warming Basalm Fir Bath Salts // Aura Cacia
I love having baths, and I love having bath bombs and salts to help sore muscles and soften my skin. But a lot of bath bombs (looking at you Lush) have parabens and chemicals in them that I refuse to use.
Companies like Aura Cacia are great, because their salts are much more natural. I love this scent; it is perfect for winter.
The only draw back is the packaging, I feel like I have to keep the pouches in plastic bags because there is no way to reseal the packaging. It would be awesome if you could buy them in a tub with a lid.
Unscented Shea Butter // Everyday Shea
Shea butter is perfect for the winter because it hydrates my skin so much better than lotions. This is a Fair Trade butter that I mix with my favourite essential oils. It intensely nourishes and hydrates my skin, which is perfect as the temperature drops.
Summit of Style Polish // Essie
A sparkly, glitter gold nail polish that is easy to remove? Yes please! I've been using this for several weeks and usually as an accent colour. It works well with dark purples and reds, but also light pinks and pastels.
What were your January beauty favourites?
Until next time,
