The holidays are here which means gift giving is in full swing! Aside from the cozy candle scents and delicious food, gift giving is my favourite part of this time of year. I love curating pieces that will make my friends smile, whether it be a creative book, a new perfume, or some home made treats. Not every one loves gift giving, and I don't blame you because it can be over whelming. What if the person doesn't like the gift? What if it's not what they wanted? It's a good thing I'm here to help, because while you shouldn't have a "one size fits all" approach to giving gifts, I've got some of my favourite holiday gift ideas for you.
Natural Tea //
If your friend or family member loves hot drinks, a good, natural tea may be the perfect gift. I love tea, but don't always want to spend the money because it seems unnecessary. But tea can soothe your bad moods, help you feel better, ect. A thoughtful blend that reminds you of that person can go a long way.
Beauty Product //
It could be a scrub, a body butter, or even a jar of bath salts. With beauty products, you want to keep it simple. Stick to one or two items that work together, and preferably that you've tried before so you can vouch for it's effects. I recommend going for more organic, luxe brands that will really pamper.
A beautifully packaged candle can go a long way. Seriously, if someone were to give me a Woodlot candle for Christmas I'd be so excited. Whatever their favourite brand, a candle can do so much for their mood. Candles can lift spirits, make you feel energized, and can help you relax. The only tricky part here is the scents, but if you are careful in your selection and you know this person well, you can pick a scent they'll love!
Books + Magazines //
Reading has always been a love of mine, it's a way to relax, unwind, learn, and experience something different. These days, I prefer magazines over books because books are kind of a big time investment, and I haven't found any lately that I've been interested in. Magazines, on the other hand are wonderful because once you fall in love, there's a new one every month or so. I adore a quality magazine like Kinfolk or Bella Grace, so I've included them in my suggestions. Find one that covers topics your friend or family member enjoys, and they'll be hooked forever.
I hope you all find something exquisite for your friends and family this year!
Until next time,
