Hi everyone, I hope you're well! Today I'm going to chat about my most recent favourites!
Sweet Almond Oil // Nature's Alchemy
This is a hydrating oil that takes a while to sink in, but gives me incredibly soft skin. I find the scent quite mild, and it could easily be mixed with essential oils to create your own blend. I use this once or twice a week, before bed, and then I put on pajamas and socks to help the oil sink in.
Turmeric + C Enlighten Serum // Andalou Naturals
After using up my Vitamin C Serum from 100% Pure, I needed a replacement. Andalou Naturals is a wonderful company that is really easy to find here in Toronto, so I decided to give their serum a go.
I find this to be a relatively creamy serum, and it takes a while to sink in. It does help with brightening up the skin, but I'm not convinced it helps with acne scars, as promised. I am dealing with some problematic skin, and my scars are still evident.
But, I love the price compared to the other serum, and it does brighten my face up, so I would repurchase this in a heart beat.
Certified Organic Argan Facial Oil // Acure Organics
This is the only argan oil I've tried, and the only one I ever need to try. This is so amazing; I use it all over my face at night for hydration and healing. This adds an extra level of hydration, sinks in very quickly, and actually helps fade my scars, as long as I use it regularly.
Ultra Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum // MyChelle
After reading Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes, I wanted to try a serum with hyaluronic acid. I was in the health shop picking up supplements, and decided to browse their skin care section. (Always a bad idea. I always buy something).
I found this, and though I've heard a lot of good things about MyChelle, I've never used any of their products. But this has quickly become one of my all time favourite serums. It sinks in quickly, adds a noticeable amount of hydration, and has a light scent that I love. Plus, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin! And it's vegan friendly.
Mediterranean Fig Bar Soap // Pacifica
I have this perfume, so when I stumbled across the bar of soap I had to pick it up. It doesn't smell quite the same as the perfume but you still get that delicious fig scent. I love a good bar of soap and the scent makes it a favourite.
