I love doing empties posts. I get to sit and chat about my likes and dislikes of the products I've used up in the past few weeks. I hope you enjoy them too!
Facial Cleansing Creme // Acure Organics
This serum is so comforting and soothing. The combination of lemongrass and spearmint smells wonderful, and the creamy texture is great.
It's also really hydrating, with ingredients like aloe vera, coconut oil, olive oil, and cocoa butter. There's also ingredients like chamomile and probiotics so it's great for people with sensitive skin.
C Serum // eco
I picked this up for seven dollars at Winners, so while I'd say it's great for the price, I don't think I'll be repurchasing this.
The ingredients are wonderful, but it felt more like an oil than a serum because it didn't sink in very quickly. It also wasn't amazing at brightening my skin.
Certified Organic Aromatherapeutic Coconut Argan Oil // Acure Organics
I've been using Acure's argan oil for a few years now, but this was the first time I tried one of their aromatherapeutic options.
I was very nervous because my skin hasn't always reacted well to coconut, but this was an exception. Just like their usual argan oil, this helped to hydrate my skin without any irritation or blemishes. I will be repurchasing.
1000 Roses Daily Shade Facial Lotion with SPF 18 // Andalou Naturals
I wanted to love this product. But after a few weeks, I noticed a lot of irritation. After application, my skin would get really red and inflamed. I know this is supposed to be for sensitive skin, and I've loved most of the other products from this line, but this just didn't work out for me. I won't be repurchasing.
Strawberry lemonade Nourishing Body Cream // 100% Pure
I picked this up on sale during their Retirement Party event, and I'm so glad I did. I've wanted to try their body creams for a long time, but I never have because of the price.
While I still think they're expensive and probably won't buy them unless they go on sale, I love them. They're very creamy, nourishing, and hydrating, and leave my skin super soft and moisturized. I also love the variety of scents.
This Strawberry Lemonade option was perfect for Summer, but they've got a lot of other scents to suite your fancy. I'd definitely recommend them if the price isn't an issue for you!
Lime Blossom Hand Cream // Andalou Naturals
I loved this hand cream, and even included it in my August Beauty Favourites! The formulation is similar to their other hand creams, but this one has coconut water for added hydration.
It's also got a lovely lime scent that's fresh and invigorating, perfect for Summer. I will be repurchasing.
French Lavender Hand Buttercream // 100% Pure
These hand creams are super tiny so they're great for smaller purses (like mine) and traveling. They're very creamy and hydrating, similar to their body creams.
I loved the lavender scent, although they have lots of new ones if lavender isn't your thing. I won't be repurchasing because they are expensive but I'd still highly recommend them if they fit in your budget!
Intensive Therapy Foot Creme // derma e
This minty fresh cream is perfect if you want a hydrating cream specially designed for your feet.
This is great for the Summer, but I'm not sure it'll hold up in the Winter. But to be sure, I'll probably repurchase and give it another go. Have you tried this before?
