The end of August is here, which means it's time to share what beauty products I loved this month!
Facial Cleansing Creme // Acure Organics
I use this in the morning and it gently cleanses my face, prepping it for toner and the rest of my routine. It's got cocoa butter, olive oil, and aloe vera so it's really hydrating, plus it's got chamomile and rose so it's nice and soothing. It also smells amazing, which is lovely and comforting on sleepy mornings.
Kombucha Enzyme Exfoliating Peel // Andalou Naturals
I've had some problematic skin over the past few weeks, and for some reason I totally forgot masks exist. So I've got to use those masks more often because they help to exfoliate my skin, which helps with some of the problems.
This one is always my go to because it's incredibly gentle but leaves me with super soft, glowing skin. It's also really convenient because it takes ten minutes and isn't messy. Plus it's got kombucha goodness in there, which is the reason I bought this in the first place.
Soothing Serum // Juice Beauty
Serums are the best way to target whatever skin problems you're dealing with. I look for calming and hydrating ones, because those are my problem areas.
This one is really great because it has ingredients like marigold and chamomile that help soothe your skin. It's also got licorice root which is clarifying, and organic primrose oil which helps condition your skin. It's a lovely all around serum, but it does have Vitamin C, so you want to use this only at night, or it'll make your skin more susceptible to the Sun.
Lime Blossom Hand Cream // Andalou Naturals
It's no secret I love the Andalou Naturals hand creams. They're affordable and very hydrating.
But I've really been loving this one this month. This is the one I keep at my desk, and I guess I've spent a lot of time here, because I've been reaching for this one the most. It's got a light, fresh scent that is wonderful for Spring/Summer. It's also got Shea butter and coconut water to hydrate and soothe your hands.
Eye Shadow Trio in Espresso // Mineral Fusions
I love trios because they're a quick and easy way to add some coordinated colour to your eyes without thinking about it too much. I generally use the lightest shade all over the lid, with the second lightest shade as a little extra colour over top. It's a very natural look that works well with a peachy blush.
What are your August beauty favourites?
Until next time,
