I was so excited when Sarah asked if I wanted to do a collab as they really are a lot of fun. And indeed it was a lot of fun putting together this (not so definitive) list of UK green beauty brands that are worth the hunt for you lot on the other side of the pond. These are the brands that I wax lyrical about, day in and day out, on my own blog.
Okay, this seems like an obvious one. Pai Skincare are widely available in North America and I hope a few of you have already tried their products. Pai was one of the first brands I turned to when I started my green beauty journey as they’re well-respected, super clean, and 100% vegan. They’re geared towards sensitive skin types but there really is something for everyone. My favourite products include the Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil and the Kukui & Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator.
Skin & Tonic London
Skin & Tonic have to be one of my absolute favourite brands. Their products are made with super simple ingredients and they have plenty of vegan-friendly options. Their products are made locally (to me anyway) and they’re great value for money. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the founders of Skin & Tonic and you can really feel the love and care that they put into their line. My faves are their Calm Balm and Coco Mask.
Evolve Organic Beauty
Evolve Beauty are an absolute delight. They have a vast product range and everything is handcrafted and 100% vegan. Their packaging is also really gorgeous and everything they make is both super effective and affordable. Their Hyaluronic Serum 200 is really something to battle the mainstream and their Radiant Glow Organic Face Mask is possibly the best smelling mask around.
PHB Ethical Beauty
If you’re looking for an unbeatable range of 100% vegan, natural, and halal skincare then PHB Ethical Beauty is the place to look. They have an enormous selection of skincare, bodycare, haircare, and makeup. A lot of their products are also quite affordable and can be found in brick and mortar health stores. If you’re going to try anything, make it their All in One Natural Mascara or their Botanical BB Cream.
Last but not least, I give you Little Ondine. This brand isn’t exactly green but they’re a bit of a gem with their innovative peel-off non-toxic nail polish formula. It’s water-based (so doesn’t smell) and comes in a huge variety of colours and finishes. The peel-off formula also makes chemical nail polish removers totally redundant. They even offer glitters and a matte top coat! Unfortunately I’ve found that the consistency can be a little hit or miss but they’re definitely worth trying as some people absolutely swear by their formula and I’ve had great luck with shades like Karma.
I’d love to hear about any UK beauty brands that you have tried and loved!
