On Wednesday we chatted about my beauty favourites, so now I'm going to give you a little insight into my non beauty favourites this month.
Flora Coconut Wax Blend Candle // Woodlot
I am new to the Woodlot candles, but I've instantly fallen in love. They're a Canadian based company that creates these gorgeous coconut and non gmo soy wax candles. They have a variety of scents and sizes so you're sure to find one you love! My favourite so far is the Flora. It's got this strong lavender scent that instantly makes me feel like I'm at a spa. There's also notes of orange and cedar wood, two more of my favourites, so it's a match made in heaven!
Essential Oil Diffuser // Aglaia
I've wanted a diffuser forever now, and I just couldn't decide on which one to get. Eventually I found this beautiful frosted glass one that is not only gorgeous, but it makes my apartment smell divine. We use different essential oils depending on our mood, and this helps create a clean smelling, fresh apartment that I love. It also runs for around six hours before shutting itself off, so it's pretty low maintenance. I love turning it on before I leave the house and coming home to a fresh space that instantly relaxes me.
Issue Seventeen // Kinfolk
I've had this issue since it came out, but I've slowly been making my way through it. I've tried to read an article a day because it's so relaxing, it helps motivate and inspire me, and it's always nice to read before bed. I love this issue way more than I thought I would, although the Entrepreneur's issue is still my favourite.
Solid Blanket in Black // Wilfred
Last year blanket scarves were everywhere. But I couldn't justify the price. And then I realized how effing cold it is here in Canada and blanket scarves keep you so warm while making you look like a runway model. So naturally, they were the first thing on my Fall/Winter clothing list this year. I picked up this minimal black scarf at Aritzia and oh boy it's changed everything. It's made of luxurious wool that keeps me so warm and cozy! Who knew a scarf could change my whole Winter fashion game.
Nicolas Turtleneck in Black // Babaton
Another fashion item, but seriously this sweater is just perfect. It's so soft and cozy, and it's made from natural fibers so it's still breathable. The turtleneck is less structured so you can kind of play with it and wear it however you want, and boy does that turtleneck keep you warm. I've never been a fan of them, and they've always made me feel claustrophobic but this is just a Winter essential.
Until next time,
