I'm genuinely surprised the month is over; it just flew by. And now we're on to December, which has always been one of my favourite months. School's out, the festivities are in full swing, and of course there's so much time to relax with friends and family. I'm going home in a couple of weeks and I couldn't be more excited.
Dates and festivities aside, let's chat about some non beauty things.
Organic Chai + Mighty Tea // David's Tea
When the temperature drops I always reach for a good chai. The combination of sweet and spicey offers a cozy and comforting drink that instantly warms my hands. This chai is no exception; with no extra fuss or ingredients, this classic tea is a perfect go to for every chai lover. It's even organic!
Spice Holiday Aromatherapy Candle // Big Dipper Wax Works
Holiday candles are always a treat; they create a cozy and relaxed environment that is so important during the rush of the holiday season. But when you're looking for a natural candle, you may come up short. They're difficult to find to begin with, but when you're looking for specific scents the hunt becomes a bit more difficult. Until now! Big Dipper Wax Works offers quality beeswax candles in three different holiday scents; Mint, Spice, and Pine. I adore the Spice scent, it's such a classic. With cinnamon and clove notes, it fills my space with a light, natural, holiday scent.
Issue 4 // Bella Grace
Now I realize this is the Summer Issue, but I had a stack of books and magazines and I'm just now going through them all. Oops. My lack of reading aside, this was another exquisite piece from Bella Grace. Their photography is so calming, while the words they've chosen are always meaningful. Whether offering a sense of security, advice, or even some clarity, their pieces are always filled with creativity and purpose. This was one of the first magazines I've truly adored, and I'm always sure to pick up the current issue.
A Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing // Melissa Bank
My partner picked this up for me and while I wasn't sure if I'd like it, I absolutely adored it. It's so well written, and the plot moves so smoothly. I won't spoil anything, but please please go buy this book, especially if you're a young women who feels a bit lost at times.
Until next time,
