I have sensitive skin, so a lot of products are way too irritating.
Cleansers can be especially irritating. Either they're too drying, filled with chemicals, smell weird, are tested on animals, or are just useless.
I struggled to find new products, and was worried about trying them in case my skin freaked out. However, in 2014 I finally found four different natural cleansers I use with confidence.
Organic Cucumber Juice Facial Cleansing Foam // 100% Pure
This was my first find of 2014, and the first natural cleanser I really liked. This isn't stripping, nor is it irritating.
I don't like cucumbers, but the scent is very relaxing. The cucumber actually helps to soothe skin and works to combat redness, something people with sensitive skin deal with quite a bit.
This is my go to cleanser in the warmer months when I don't need a lot of hydration, rather something to refresh and calm my skin.
Organic Argan Oil Creamy Cleanser // 100% Pure
My second find of 2014, and one of my favourites. This is the cleanser I use in the Fall because it's hydrating, but it doesn't stand up to the Winter weather. My skin drinks the argan oil, the aloe is calming, and the vitamin C helps with brightness.
Facial Cleansing Creme // Acure Organics
This is easily my favourite cleanser because it's gentle and effective. I use this in the mornings and at night when I am not wearing any make up.
Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter // The Body Shop
This has a silky and luxurious texture that melts away my makeup, leaving behind seriously hydrated skin. I love the scent and haven't had any irritation or blemish issues. Plus it's an affordable product and a little goes a long way.
I hope this helps those of you with dry and sensitive skin, and let me know if you have any natural cleansers you really love!
Until next time,
