While Winter can take a toll on our skin, so can the Summer. The sun, heat, and humidity definitely wreaks havoc on my skin, so it's super important to take care of it.
Today I want to share three products I've been using to help remove dead skin cells, soften, and hydrate my skin despite the harsh sunny weather.
Sea Salt & Sugar Scrub in Lime* // Sattva Pure
I love scrubs because they're an easy way to remove dead skin cells and exfoliate your skin, but they can also be really hydrating.
This is definitely a hydrating scrub thanks to the sunflower and avocado oils and Shea butter. It also has a wonderful citrus scent thanks to the lime essential oils.
Citrus Verbena Uplifting Body Lotion // Andalou Naturals
After I've used a scrub I always apply a body butter or lotion. I find lotions are better in the Summer because it's hot and humid, so you want something light that'll sink in quickly.
Andalou's lotions are all very light but incredibly nourishing. I love this citrus scent for Summer and the lime scent pairs so well with the lime scrub.
Malibu Lemon Blossom Super Hydrating Hand Cream // Pacifica
To keep your hands hydrated, look for a super hydrating hand cream. Pacifica uses sweet almond oil, Shea butter and coconut water to create a light but moisturizing formula.
I love all of their scents, but this one is my favourite. The lemon scent makes me feel refreshed and calm.
What are your favourite Summer body products?
