I love a good spa session as much as the next person, but when you've made green beauty a part of your life, finding a spa can be difficult.
You want to make sure the products are cruelty free, that the ingredients are natural and effective, and that the treatment is actually going to be beneficial for you and your skin!
So today I'm sharing three green beauty spas that use natural, sometimes organic skincare and beauty products so you can truly treat yourself.
OM Spa //
Nestled in Thornhill, OM Spa is my go to for natural spa treatments.
OM Spa offers all kinds of services including manicures and pedicures, waxing, facials, massage, and alternative therapies like acupuncture and reflexology.
They use natural products from brands like Pure + Simple and Shaffali Skincare. As someone with sensitive and picky skin, I love that they are always more than happy to customize treatments to your needs.
I love the staff, they're all so nice and make me feel so comfortable every time I'm there. I always go to Chanique. She's amazing at what she does, she's got such a calming energy and I love the conversations we have, it makes the treatment really relaxing and enjoyable.
Located in the quickly growing Etobicoke, RINSE Beauty Bar is owned by sisters June and Andrea.
They've created a chic, vegan and cruelty free, relaxing beauty bar that offers all kinds of services from manicures and pedicures, facials, massages, hair removal, and hair styling.
While I can't wear nail polish because of my job, I've had the opportunity to get my nails done at RINSE. It was one of the most relaxing nail experiences I've had and you can read about it here.
The technicians are well trained and know exactly what they're doing. RINSE offers 5-Free and 7-Free polishes like LVX.
With several locations across the GTA, Pure + Simple offers all kinds of spa services for any green beauty lover. They even have a wellness center at their Yorkville location that offers acupuncture, nutrition counseling, and massage.
I've never had the chance to get a treatment at Pure + Simple, but I was lucky enough to attend their #SoFreshSoGreen event in July. I can tell you the people that work there are incredibly welcoming, kind, and genuine, and immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease.
I just moved close to their Yonge + Eglinton location and I can't wait to carve out some spa time to try their treatments!
What are your favourite green beauty spas?
Until next time,
